Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 April 2026
Altiera ("Altiera", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Who we are
Altiera is an Australian commercial property business. If you need to contact us about this policy or about any personal information we hold, our details are set out in section 12 below.
2. The personal information we collect
Our website is a brochure-style site. We do not operate contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, user accounts, or online transactions on the site itself. The limited circumstances in which personal information may be collected are set out below.
Information you provide directly. If you email us or call us using the contact details listed on our website, we will receive the personal information you choose to provide — typically your name, contact details, and the content of your enquiry.
Information collected when you book a call via Calendly. Our website links to a third-party scheduling platform operated by Calendly, LLC. If you use that link to book a call with us, Calendly will collect information from you (such as your name, email address, phone number, and the details of the meeting) and will share that information with us so we can prepare for and attend the meeting. Calendly handles this information under its own privacy policy, available at https://calendly.com/privacy. Calendly is based in the United States and your information will be stored there.
Technical information. Our website host automatically collects standard server log information when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security, to diagnose technical issues, and to understand aggregate website usage. It is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies. Our website may use a small number of essential cookies required for the site to function correctly. We do not use our website to serve advertising or to track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site may not work as intended.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) through our website.
3. How we use your personal information
We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, or for directly related purposes that you would reasonably expect, including to:
respond to your enquiries and provide information you have requested;
schedule, prepare for, and attend meetings you have booked with us;
maintain the security, integrity, and proper operation of our website;
comply with our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
We will not use your personal information for direct marketing unless you have given us your consent, and you can opt out of any marketing communication at any time.
4. Disclosure of personal information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may disclose personal information to:
Service providers who assist us in operating our business and website, including our scheduling platform (Calendly) and our website hosting provider. These providers are only permitted to use personal information for the purpose of providing services to us.
Professional advisors such as our lawyers and accountants, where necessary.
Government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement where we are required or authorised by law to do so.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of the service providers we rely on (including Calendly and potentially our website host and email provider) may store or process personal information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this is the case, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles the information in a manner consistent with the APPs.
6. Security of personal information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Accessing and correcting your personal information
You have a right under the APPs to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading. To make a request, please contact us using the details in section 12. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where required, explain any refusal in writing.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the APPs or mishandled your personal information, please contact us using the details in section 12 and we will investigate your complaint and respond to you within a reasonable period.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):

9. Third-party websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including Calendly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
10. Children
Our website and services are not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
